The historic live music hub is turning Election Night into a full-blown celebration of democracy, dancing, and deliciousness.
This Saturday, the Odeon Richmond is cranking up the amps and rolling out the barbie for their Moving Towards the Pulsebeat – Election Night Special.
It’s a night where the rhythm of democracy meets actual rhythms—thanks to DJs spinning bangers, cold drinks behind the bar, and the election results beamed live onto the big screen.
Whether you’re voting above or below the line, you’ll want to be on the line at Odeon when the party kicks off.
Moving Towards the Pulsebeat – Election Night Special
- When: Saturday 3 May, 6pm
- Where: Odeon Richmond, 267 Swan Street, Richmond

It’s a sausage party in the best possible way—yes, there will be Democracy Sausages sizzling away alongside a BBQ feast, ensuring that no one has to choose between civic duty and dinner. Expect a jubilant, weird, and very Richmond energy as punters cheer (or jeer) the latest seat counts while dancing to everything from punk and funk to post-industrial grooves. There’s no better place to process the nation’s fate than with a pint in one hand and a snag in the other.
This is no dry election watch party—this is a full-throttle Odeon-style knees-up. So round up your politically opinionated mates and get ready to boogie your way through the ballot count.
Can’t make it this weekend? The Odeon has a stellar line-up for the month, check it out.
