Women of Wit is rolling back into Arts Centre Warburton, proving once again that comedy's sharpest voices are women.
Since launching in Bendigo in 2018, Women of Wit has built a reputation for showcasing the best new, emerging and established women in stand-up comedy, and this gig marks the show’s second straight year at Yarra Ranges.
Produced by Comedy Victoria, the night promises sharp, smart and downright funny storytelling from a lineup of performers who’ve spent years sharpening their craft on stages across the country – and on television screens around the nation.

Topping the bill is Kirsty Webeck, an award-winning comedian known for her upbeat, relatable storytelling and playful, inclusive humour. A regular headliner, she’s appeared on major television shows and festival galas and on international stages, with her special Silver Linings cementing her as one of the country’s leading comics.
Joining her is Urvi Majumdar, a Melbourne-based comedian, writer and actor celebrated for her sharp, smart storytelling. A festival favourite, she’s written for The Project and The Weekly, popped up on Fisk and Celebrity Letters & Numbers, and picked up the Moosehead Award for her show BURNT.
Rounding out the announced lineup is Anna Perry, a standout known for her bold, offbeat humour and razor-sharp timing. A Raw Comedy finalist, she’s performed at major festivals alongside some of the country’s top comics and has nearly 20 years of television experience under her belt, including stints on Spicks and Specks and Mad As Hell.
Organisers have confirmed more names are set to be added to the bill closer to the date, so this lineup is only set to get bigger.
The show carries an age recommendation of 15+, runs for one hour and 45 minutes, and contains mild course language and adult themes, so plan your night out accordingly.
What started as a response to the long-standing underrepresentation of women in stand-up has grown into one of Victoria’s most-loved touring comedy series, and Yarra Ranges audiences are clearly here for it given the show’s return for a second year running.
