How does your trivia night differ from others on the scene? We got sick of boring exam-style trivia nights so we made our quiz for folks that just want to dick around and have a hilarious night out with their mates. We award points not only for correct answers, but also for any answer that makes us laugh.
Who hosts your trivia night, and what are they like? From the icy shores of Eastern Canada Dr. Pam Rana is known for her saucy stabs at reality and for maniacally revolting the status quo. You may know her from local comedy debates, anchoring the desk at The Leak or from her sold out festival show, Kim Kardashian is Bad for the Environment.
What prizes can people attending win? First place takes home a $100 bar and restaurant voucher, second place a $50 bar and restaurant voucher, and second-to-last place scores a bottle of wine. Plus, there’s numerous spot prizes throughout the night.
Does your venue have any food or drink specials on offer during quiz nights and, if so, what are they? We’re serving up $8 Heineken schooners along with some food specials.
Tell us some other fun stuff about your quiz. Based on a very successful format we’ve been running in New Zealand, this is Off The Wall’s first foray on this side of the ditch. At the start we get every team to write an amusing haiku on the topic of our choosing. There’s cheeky bonus points for best teams names and the team who spends the most at the bar and restaurant.
