Win: We’re giving away double passes to James Reyne’s Fall of Crawl tour

Words by staff writer

We have two double passes to give away to James Reyne's Fall of Crawl tour and entering couldn't be easier.

James Reyne is heading out on the Fall of Crawl tour, a nationwide run of shows marking four decades since Australian Crawl called it quits in February 1986. The tour has already expanded with new dates added in Melbourne, Thirroul, Gosford, Canberra, Hobart, Toronto and the Sunshine Coast following strong demand.

The Fall of Crawl tour will see Reyne dig deep into the Australian Crawl catalogue, pulling out the songs that soundtracked countless Australian summers. Boom Crash Opera will provide support across the run, with 1927 and Models also appearing on select dates.

The Fall of Crawl tour marks four decades since Australian Crawl wrapped up in February 1986. Reyne is treating the run as a celebration of everything that came before, taking the catalogue that soundtracked countless Australian summers and giving it a proper send-off. Boom Crash Opera will join as support across the tour, with 1927 and Models also appearing on select dates.

Reyne has also dropped a new video for Going Back to Nashville, a country-rock number inspired by his tours with the late Tony Joe White. The track is packed with nods to Nashville icons and lore, namechecking everyone from Tom T. Hall to George and Tammy, Porter and Dolly. The video, directed by Colin Renshaw, leans heavily into American wild west and classic country film imagery.
