If you’ve ever battled with ratios, dodgy textures and a slushie machine that just won’t cooperate, Moon Dog Craft Brewery feels your pain. The Melbourne-based outfit has launched Fizzer Slusheez, billed as Australia’s first canned alcoholic slushie mix, and it’s designed to take the guesswork out of the whole ordeal.
The concept is dead simple: pour one can of Fizzer Slusheez into your machine, add two cans of water using the empty tin as a measuring cup, and let it rip. Each can produces over a litre of finished slushie, meaning two cans will fill an entire machine — enough frozen booze for 14 people.
The range launches with two flavours pulled from Moon Dog’s most popular pours at their venues: Limoncello, which leans tangy and sweet, and Long Island, going heavier on the cola, citrus and booze. Both are compatible with all at-home slushie machines.
