We're giving away a full night out in Melbourne during the Comedy Festival, and you don't have to do a single thing to earn it except enter.
One lucky reader (plus a friend) will score a complete 9 April package during the Melbourne International Comedy Festival.
The evening kicks off at Trades Hall with Comedy Zone, the festival’s long-running showcase of Australia’s next generation of stand-up talent, now in its 26th year. This year’s lineup features five rising comics including 2025 RAW Comedy national winner Peter Josip, Syrian-born dark comedy specialist Bahaa Dabbagh, Hong Kong-born storyteller Stella Wu, Queensland’s self-described deranged soup-drinking maniac Jack Knight and South Australia’s Kushi Venkatesh.

After the laughs
Once Comedy Zone wraps, head to Max Watt’s for The Festival Club’s 10.45pm session of Not On Your Rider, the cult music quiz panel show hosted by Aimon Clark where you get to play along from your seat. Between shows (or before), there’s a $100 dining voucher for Fancy Hank’s, Melbourne’s beloved Bourke Street barbecue joint, where everything comes off a two-and-a-half-tonne offset smoker and the tap list runs deep.
Round it all off with a night’s accommodation for two at Brady Hotels in the CBD. Check in on 9 April, check out on 10 April, and wake up in the middle of the city with zero regrets and a full stomach.
