Wild nights, dazzlings heights and comedy delights: Spiegel Haus’ April program is a sight to behold

words by staff writer

Our city’s very own big top is ramping things up this month, becoming an official venue for the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and hosting shows that are larger than life.

Spiegel Haus is not a place that holds anything back. In the tent, you’ll find shows that are bigger, bolder and more boisterous than anywhere else in the city. From giggles that turn into guffaws to red-hot performers that’ll have you on the edge of your seat, you never know what to expect when the lights are dimmed and the show begins.

This month, the venue has added a new work that’s guaranteed to make even the most seasoned theatre-goer blush. Briefs: The Works is cabaret, but not as you know it – we’ll leave it at that, and let you discover the rest. Plus, Speigelhaus has been added as an official MIFC venue as part of the festival’s 40th edition, with the rooftop bar and CDMX taco truck serving as part of the Drink and Dining Program.

So what’s on the agenda for this month? Hold on to your hats, because we’re jumping in.
