As winter settles in, Melbourne prepares to ignite the senses with the return of the much-loved Whisky, Wine & Fire festival, taking place at Caulfield Racecourse from July 18 to 21. After a hiatus since 2019, this beloved event promises an evening of warmth, flavour, and enchantment in a new subterranean setting.

This year, Caulfield’s new world-class underground precinct sets the stage for an immersive tasting experience, surrounded by ethereal fire installations in a captivating fire garden.

From the moment attendees step into this underground oasis, they will be greeted by the comforting aromas of fine whiskies and exquisite wines, beckoning them to explore the delights that await.

The festival boasts a curated selection of offerings from boutique and distinguished distilleries and winemakers. Attendees can indulge in elegant pours from acclaimed local and international labels, discovering new favourites as they mingle amid live music and the flickering glow of fire-kissed feasts served up by Melbourne’s top restaurants.

Alana Bray, Executive Director, Commercial, expresses her excitement about the festival’s return, promising a spectacular new installment.

“Inspired by the winter solstice, we’re curating the finest selection of wineries and distilleries from across Australia to Caulfield, along with live music, mesmerising fire sculptures, and delicacies fit for winter feasting,” she says.

“We encourage you to embrace your winter woolies and indulge the five senses in a celebration of all things whisky, wine and fire.”

With the full lineup of participating wineries, distillers, and restaurants yet to be announced, anticipation is high for what promises to be an unforgettable celebration.

Whether attendees are seasoned connoisseurs or foodies eager to explore, there’s something for everyone to enjoy amidst the warmth and camaraderie of this winter gathering.
