Wax Music Lounge has a plethora of live shows ready for your enjoyment this September, all you need to do is turn up!
That’s right. Wax Music Lounge, the beautifully ambient Flinders Street venue, has collated quite the September for all you lovely gig hunters. You’ll find the lounge bar nestled perfectly in the basement of the Selina Hotel, with a drinks menu as undeniably good as the music.
The venue, a brainchild of those geniuses at the Wax Museum Records, boasts a timelessly suave space that feels larger than it is. They host a range of artists from intimate acoustic acts to ensemble bands that fill up the stage. So to those who need them, chuck on your reading glasses and to those who don’t, I’m jealous. Circadian Rhythms

Circadian Rhythms are returning to Wax Music Lounge in September, playing every Monday night. If you don’t know what these guys are about, hold onto your socks. They’re an experimental jazz band with incredible music and phenomenal vibes. Their sets are split up by intermittent guest DJs each night, meaning you get your jazz AND DJ fix. Mellowdías Thump

The second residency at Wax Music Lounge is Mellowdías Thump, who will be returning to play four shows through September. A Wax veteran, he’ll be providing a soulful catalogue that’ll spin your noggin and shift your feet. Get more information here if you’re keen!
Santerres and Friends

DJ heavyweights Santerres are back with thanks to We Are Tribe, and they’re bringing a bunch of pals along with them to Wax Music Lounge in September. Royalty Noise

Last but certainly not least, the venue is putting up Royalty Noise for your enjoyment. Not only are they one of the coolest groups in town, but they’re also bringing along some heavy-hitting friends to make for a night that you’ll be speaking about for weeks.
