2018 has been a stellar year for music. This year’s album releases had us falling for new acts and others helped rekindle our love for old favourites. We’ve seen phenomenal debuts along with stunning additions to already glimmering catalogues, leaving the process of deciding on a favourite for the year quite daunting.

After much debate, the editorial team here at Beat have managed to condense our favourite album releases of 2018 down to a list of 30, but we want to hear from you to help us land on a winner. Whether it was a record that snuck up on you unannounced and took you into its warm embrace, or a release that surpassed your already high expectations, we want to know what has been your favourite album of 2018.

Check out the list below, and if you think we’ve left something out be sure to let us know. Get voting and stay tuned to see which record takes out the title of Beat’s Album of the Year, to be announced on Friday December 21.
