Working with up-and-coming filmmaker Mitch Mey, The Lie is the first single taken from her Sonder EP – produced by Tommy Spender, who has previously brought to life tunes from Gotye, Clairy Browne, Mphazes and more.

“I remember crawling up with my guitar underneath my study desk next to the filing cabinet as the whole song poured out of me,” says George on the song’s inception. “I didn’t even understand what I was writing about back then”

Her Sonder EP covers a lot of ground, with each song finely honed with its own narrative.

“The process of creating this piece of art helped me discover myself,” she says.  “Each song on this EP has an insane story behind it, some written when I was 15 covering conversations of brokenness, abuse, divorce, realisation and retaliation. I couldn’t be more excited about life right now and sharing it with everyone.”
