UV Race, Hierophants, R.M.F.C. and Parsnip to play free gig in June

Max Watt's
words by sidonie bird de la coeur

Appearing at Max Watt's in the city, Young Henrys and Anti Fade Records have teamed up to put on a show of some of Melbourne's best emerging homegrown acts - all for free.

Taking place on Friday June 17, Young Henrys and Anti Fade are putting on a killer show of prolific Australian acts. What a line-up it is; with self-described as “idiot savant punk rock” UV Race headlining the evening at Max Watt’s with their unabashedly Australian off-kilter garage punk sound. Joining UV Race on the dancefloor is four piece garage rock ensemble Parsnip, garage-punk outfit R.M.F.C. and synth-punk super group Hierophants. With Sydney-based brewers and distillers Young Henrys and label Anti Fade Records shouting the ticket for the night, there’s no reason to miss this awesome line-up of bands.
