The tour marks the singer/songwriter’s biggest run of shows yet.
After capping off 2019 with the release of his new single ‘Travelling All This Time’, an acoustic rock ode to the simple pleasures of life and time spent on the road, Melbourne singer/songwriter Sam Fletcher is set to hit the dusty trail for the second half of his ‘Travelling All This Time’ summer tour this month.
Fletcher kicked off his 11-date east coast tour at the end of 2019 before taking a short break. This weekend, he’ll be back on the road as he journeys through New South Wales, Canberra and Victoria for the second half of the tour.
A multi-instrumentalist with a voice like butter, it’s no wonder Fletcher’s tunes have been pricking ears. Melding classic rock with indie folk, Fletcher’s sound is inspired by the greats of the ’60s and ’70s, lending a nostalgic air to his tunes and mirroring his old soul.
Having spent the past handful of years playing support slots and small festivals, Fletcher is setting his sights on bigger things for 2020. With a new single under his belt and midway through his biggest tour yet, the musician is hard at work on his debut EP.
In the meantime, listen to ‘Travelling All This Time’ below.
Sam Fletcher hits The Yarra Hotel, Abbotsford on Saturday January 18 and Lentil As Anything on Sunday January 19. For more info, head to his Facebook page.
