Tropical Fuck Storm announce Australian ‘Fuck The Rain Away’ tour

Melbourne legends Tropical Fuck Storm have announced an Australian tour alongside Delivery and Party Dozen.

ARIA award-winning Tropical Fuck Storm have just returned from their hugely successful sold-out European vacation tour and after catching up on some much-needed snooze time, they’ll be back at the nation’s domestic check-in counters, arguing with the airlines about the amount of excess baggage they need to make your ears bleed.

Syders it’s finally your time as well; after a number of false starts, months of trying, and multiple sagas that have kept you apart; TFS will be hitting The Metro to launch Deep States. Before they head north to The Triffid in Brizneyland and up to the top end for their debut NT show at the Darwin Festival. Returning to Melbs for an epic night of beats, sweat and beers for a homecoming show of all homecoming shows, there will be lots of new tunes and old faves, sons and daughters, love and laughter, tears, sadness and happiness.

In other news, there maybe, just maybe some new music dropping imminently…

Joining TFS for all shows will be Sydney two-piece noise band, Party Dozen. A sonic partnering of saxophonist Kirsty Tickle and percussionist Jonathan Boulet, Party Dozen is a project loosely based around improvisation. Doom. Jazz. Hardcore. Psychedelic. No-wave. Industrial. Although largely instrumental, their sets are punctuated by Kirsty’s unique “singing” style, screaming into the bell of her saxophone which itself goes through a bevy of effects pedals.

Garage punk band Delivery are rounding out this sexy line up. Conceived in the depths of 2020, Delivery is five familiar faces from the Melbourne music scene, spread across too many local bands to name and deliver (get it) a razor-sharp blend of garage, post-punk and new-wave pop!

Over the past few years, we’ve all heard the noise in our own heads. Tropical Fuck Storm has made music of it. Tix on sale Friday from tropicalfuckstormrecords.com.
