Yunyu records soundtrack to book by award winning author.
Yunyu, one of Triple J’s Unearthed winners, has teamed up with award winning Author, Marianne de Pierre, with the release of her latest single, Angel Arias.
The song was commissioned by Random House to be the soundtrack to de Pierre’s new novel, Burn Bright. The track is inspired by the dark world within the story of Burn Bright and reflects upon some key moments in the book. De Pierres believes that the collaboration was a natural progression. "If you read my work, and listen to Yunyu’s music, you’d have to see that it’s a marriage made in Heaven – or Hades as the case may be," says the author.
Angel Arias will be released by Bamboozle Music on March 4.
