It also serves as a fund raiser for beyondblue. The organization works to reduce the impact of depression and anxiety in the community.
Kristy died on Thursday December 18 last year. He played in ‘90s bands as Desire, Peace of Mind, Jonestown, 40 Alexander, Glasshouse, Frans, The Cyclones and White Widdow with whom he toured Europe in 2012.
The tribute concert/fund raiser is held on Wednesday March 5 at The Espy in St Kilda. The musicians involved come from bands including Serpentine, Black Majesty, Tigertailz, White Widdow, Electric Mary, KISSTROYER, The Accidents, Agent Orange and Gripping Water. They’ll play his favourite songs culminating with an all-star version of Hear n’Aid’s We’re Stars.
