The Melbourne date features support from Milly Strange, a five-piece Melbourne outfit whose sound fuses folk storytelling with alt-rock and grunge. The band released their self-titled debut album in August and have been carving out a growing reputation across the city’s live circuit, with a catalogue built on vivid lyricism and raw emotional depth. From Brunswick, Rogers continues north through Old Bar on the NSW mid-north coast, Queensland’s Sunshine Coast and Brisbane, before looping through Canberra, Gundaroo, Newcastle and Sydney. The tour wraps at Milton Theatre on 19 April.
Rogers and You Am I were inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame at the 2025 ARIA Awards, joining a lineage that includes AC/DC, INXS, Crowded House and Cold Chisel. The band were the first Australian act to land three consecutive number one debuts on the ARIA Albums Chart and have collected 10 ARIA Awards from 31 nominations since forming in the late 1980s.
Outside the band, Rogers has built a prolific solo catalogue alongside a stint fronting the Hard-Ons, with additional credits spanning film, television, theatre and publishing. Brunswick Ballroom’s seated and standing options include premium packages with reserved tables and a meal from the venue’s kitchen, so those keen to make a proper evening of it can settle in with dinner before the show kicks off at 8:30pm. Tickets are on sale now.
