Ticketing Services Supervisor At Melbourne Recital Centre

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Demonstrated previous ticketing experience, especially within a subscription or multi-ticket event ticketing environment (essential).
  • Demonstrated experience in providing best practice Ticketing services (essential)
  • A high level of IT literacy with knowledge and experience in using the standard Microsoft office suite, plus the initiative and ability to learn Tessitura Software ®, for which training will be provided. (essential)
  • Demonstrated capacity to be highly organised, determine workloads, set priorities, work under pressure and complete tasks within specified timeframes (essential)
  • Highly developed interpersonal and negotiation skills, as well as high standards of personal presentation and the ability to maintain good working relationships with a wide range of people at different levels both internal and external to the organisation (essential)
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise staff, provide support and development to and work effectively in a team environment (essential)
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills (essential) and the ability to proof-read and edit documents and to coach communication skills in others (desirable).
  • Conversational skill in languages other than English, especially Asian languages (desirable).
  • The position is under direction from the Director, Marketing & Customer Relations and is subject to the policies and procedures of Melbourne Recital Centre.
  • Melbourne Recital Centre is still a new organisation so systems and processes are gradually being put into place.   Initiative and flexibility is required to determine the best course of action where processes are yet to be defined.
