The latest edition of Odeon Richmond’s beloved listening party series pays tribute to one of Australia’s most beloved bands: INXS. Hear their seminal 1985 album Listen Like Thieves through the venue’s famed surround sound system, and fully immerse yourself in the sonic magic of the ’80s.

Japanese vocalist and trumpeter Nana Koizumi brings the music of Studio Ghibli to life alongside Sydney jazz ensemble The Consouls, best known for their video game soundtrack arrangements. Offering jazz-infused J-pop and enchanting melodies, it’s guaranteed to be an enchanting evening.

Peter Endall, best known for his work as the keyboardist of ‘80s synthpop band Schizo Scherzo, has returned with a new project. He’s set to dish up ‘70s-inspired electronica with a distinctly post-punk edge alongside Brisbane surf and spaghetti western band Double Happiness.

Back by popular demand, Lizard Lounge! invites two beloved Melbourne DJs to hit the decks: Rob G and Paul S. Dishing up iconic ’90s tracks from the likes of The Smiths, The Cure, Depeche Mode and New Order, these reptile rockers always guarantee a night full of fun.

Melbourne folk duo The Fog, made up of musicians Daniel Butler and Brian Dentry, are gearing up to release their newest album ‘Suite For My Sweet’. Recorded at El Cyberdour Studio, the album blends traditional folk stylings with a contemporary edge.
EORTI (Celebration) Greek festival – Day 1, Live Band

Kicking off three days of Greek goodness as part of the annual Leaps and Bounds music festival, this unique event features Peter Stathopoulos playing rare 78 rpm Rebetika recordings of iconic Greek singers. This will be followed by live performances from multifaceted artist Irene Vela, award-winning singer-songwriter Anthea Sidiropoulos and Rebetika band Anatrepix.

Day 2 of this unique Greek festival begins with immersing yourself into the surround sound version of one of Prog Rock’s iconic concept albums, ‘666’ by Aphrodite’s Child. This event also includes complimentary Greek tastings of meze with top-shelf liquors.

The second night of this unique event has a whole new lineup. Catch Peter Stathopoulos, the co-owner of one of Australia’s most notable music stores, Vicious Sloth Collectable, play rare 78 rpm Greek recordings followed by renowned traditional Greek live band, Epstrofi, delving into sonic gems from one of Greece’s golden age of music.
