Brunswick’s new kid on the block, The Bergy Seltzer, is showcasing the city’s local talent with a brand new bi-monthly live music series.
Kicking off the series next Friday is a stellar lineup featuring award-winning Melbourne singer Peny Bohan, acoustic music Jack Milligan, roots-rock artist Dana Crower and music scene veteran Nathan Schifferle.
The Bergy Seltzer is still a relatively new venue, brought to you by the same folks behind the iconic Brunswick Hotel. The venue’s co-owners hope the up-and-coming hotspot rekindles the magic that the Brunswick Hotel conjured up.
“We’re just wanting to be a cool hang-out-spot for musicians, with myself and Brody behind the bar talking shit. That was our goal,” Bergy co-owner David ‘Frankie’ Cudmore said in a previous interview with Beat.
Catch the first instalment of The Bergy Seltzer’s live music series on Friday November 29. For more info, head to the Facebook event.
