Celebrate the 50th anniversary of Grievous Angel, the iconic album by Gram Parsons, with an unforgettable tribute event at the Brunswick Ballroom in Melbourne.
Set for Sunday, 10 November 2024, this evening will honour Parsons’ legacy as a pioneer of Cosmic American Music and his influential contributions through collaborations with The Byrds and The Flying Burrito Brothers, as well as his own solo albums, G.P. and Grievous Angel, where he shared the stage with Emmylou Harris.

An evening of live tributes and timeless classics
Hosted by Myles O’Neil-Shaw of PBS’s 5 Feet High & Rising and Ben Mastwyk, the evening will feature performances by notable Melbourne artists, including Hana Brenecki, Kate Alexander, Leroy Macqueen, Loretta Miller, Charlotte LeLievre, Alex Hamilton, Patrick Wilson, Evan Sillence, and Kerryn Fields. The Deadnecks will serve as the house band, creating a vibrant musical atmosphere with Parsons’ classics and hidden gems.
This tribute to Parsons’ influence on American music promises a night of captivating performances, sing-alongs, and celebration of his enduring legacy.
