There’s a massive, free hip-hop gig coming to Brunswick next month

Strictly D.T

Five acts, zero dollars. What's not to love?

Neighbourhood Goods is bringing some of the finest of Melbourne’s live-band hip hop acts and MCs together for a ripper free evening. In the style of a free neighbourhood block party, but entirely in the Brunswick Ballroom because they can, there will be five live acts, a pop up stall from vintage legends High Bias Supply and projections on the big screen.

It all goes down on one night only, Wednesday October 5 and it’s completely free.

What you need to know

  • Neighbourhood Goods is coming to The Brunswick Ballroom for a night of live hip hop and vintage shopping
  • The stacked lineup of performers includes SADIVA, Flimsey Lohan, Strictly DT, Context and Chad Wallz, with fresh vintage goods avaliable from High Bias Supply
  • Head on over to The Brunswick Ballroom on Wednesday October 5 for this killer event

Keep up with the latest music news, festivals, interviews and reviews here.

Lab Co. royalty, SADIVA is bringing her beats to The Brunswick Ballroom for Neighbourhood Goods. Performing also are Flimsey Lohan (great name), who belt out everything from post-rock to jazz to hip-hop.

The winner of 2017’s International Songwriters Competition, Strictly DT will also be appearing for a killer performance on the evening. Bringing his supersonic sound to the Brunswick, current Ballroom Crew and former astronaut Context’s performance promises to be an out-of-this-world experience.

Last, but by no means least, you’ll be treated to some mean snares from the nicest guy in hip hop – Chad Wallz.

Neighbourhood Goods is a Resonate 2022 event, a part of the Victorian Government’s On The Road Again initiative to bring live music back across the state.

It’s all happening on October 5 and it’s free. Find out more and register your interest by heading here.
