Brunswick Ballroom is throwing open its parquet dancefloor for a night that’s equal parts party and competition, no dance experience necessary.

Hosted by Conor Gallacher and Xander Allan of Human Love Quest, the night functions as a full-on dance party first and a competition second; meaning even if you never set foot in the contest, you’re still in for a massive night out.
For those keen to test their moves, there are two categories to enter: solo dancers, and groups of two or more.
Each category runs three heats, with contestants judged by a rotating panel of three guest judges across three criteria — skill, creativity, and personality.
The songs for each heat will be released ahead of the night, so competitors can prepare mentally, physically, or both.
Contestants are given a number to pin on, and after a series of knockouts on the ballroom’s iconic parquet floor, surrounded by a circle of onlookers, the final heat crowns the ultimate winner, with prizes up for grabs.
And to be crystal clear: this is not a competition for seasoned performers. Any dance style goes, any experience level is welcome, and the whole point is to have a good time expressing yourself.
