The VANNS are going ‘through the wringer’ to get to the Corner Hotel

The VANNS

Aussie rock favourites The VANNS are announcing new tickets and another postponed date for their upcoming Melbourne gig.

The VANNS this week announce their plans to get their national tour back on the road, rescheduling the remaining east coast shows for early 2022.

After growing restrictions forced the South Coast group to put a pause on live shows just as their Australian jaunt was picking up steam, their team has been working hard to move the puzzle pieces around.

Stay up to date with what’s happening in Melbourne here.

With their latest single ‘Feels Good Now’ filling the void (well too, nabbing the #1 Most Played song on triple j over recent weeks), The VANNS are excited to be back on stages in March and April; even more so to add that their tour mates Eliza & The Delusionals will be rejoining them to see out the rest of the Australian shows.

Anyone who has been following The VANNS over the last few years will know how important these tour dates are for the band. Originally announced around the release of their track ‘Red Light’, the onset of the pandemic has seen these shows postponed, rescheduled and postponed again multiple times.

The return of The VANNS to live touring this year was a massive achievement for the group, and it’s a victory lap of sorts they can’t wait to complete.

“A lot of these shows on the tour are happening two years after their originally scheduled dates,” Cameron Little says.

“We never wanted to cancel the tour, and it’s gone through the wringer in terms of postponements because we always knew that as soon as we could get back to touring, it would be the first thing we do. Suffice to say, we are so damn excited to play. ‘Can’t wait’ feels like an understatement.”

Along with the already announced shows, The VANNS have added extra tickets for their Melbourne show at the Corner Hotel, as well as in Newcastle, Wollongong, Canberra andSydney – the latter of these moving to the Manning Bar.

Already purchased tickets will be honoured at these gigs, with refunds available for those who can no longer attend. Ticket info here.
