The Vanns

The Aussie rock four-piece will be hitting the road this summer.

The Vanns fans, it’s your lucky day: the Kiama-based force of indie rock will be taking over stages across the country this November in support of their highly-acclaimed sophomore album, Last Of Your Kind.

Armed with infectious pop-rock jams and sun-soaked ballads, they’ll be starting off with a big night at Melbourne’s Forum before heading west to Adelaide and Perth and finishing off with sweltering gigs in Sydney and Brisbane.

The Vanns 2023 Tour

  • Nov 3 – The Forum, Melbourn
  • Nov 4 – The Gov, Adelaide
  • Nov 17 – Freo Social, Perth
  • Nov 18 – Roundhouse, Sydney
  • Nov 25 – The Tivoli, Brisbane

They’ll be bringing the Brisbane-based surf-pop group Shag Rock along for the ride. Best known for their hit single Sunbleached Girl, they’ll be making sure the mood is right for the evening.

The Vanns have had a massive last few years. In 2022, they sold out a headlining tour before hopping on as support for the iconic UK rockers The Wombats and The Kooks on their Aussie run. The Melbourne show was broadcast on Triple J’s Live At The Wireless program, giving international listeners a chance to hear their hit single Feels Good Now.

Released in March, the band’s second album, Last Of Your Kind,  propelled them to new heights. Featuring the singles Ever and Thinkin Bout The Nights, it leapt to eighth place on the ARIA album charts and saw the band sell out an intimate release tour.

Now, the stages will be bigger and the shows are expected to pack an even more powerful punch. Playing songs from across their stacked catalogue, The Vanns are not to be missed when they make their way through town this November.

Tickets to The Vanns 2023 Tour with Shag Rock are set to go on sale to the public at 12pm AEST on July 5, with a presale option available at 10:30 AEST on July 3. To pick up yours, head here.
