The Cut My Heart Into Pieces tour featuring American rock legends The Used and Papa Roach will touch down in April 2023.
Two major forces of hardcore are teaming up for an Australian takeover. The Used and Papa Roach are heavy-hitters with mass appeal – bands that have honed their craft and kept the energy high for decades. Stadiums are sure to be shaking when they come to town.
The two headliners have enlisted the help of the ruthless rock group, Coldrain, to rev the engines and start the party at all shows except the Brisbane date. Hailing from Nagoya, Japan, the band fuses melodic vocals and growly screams with standard post-hardcore flair.

It wouldn’t be far off to say that Papa Roach is one of the founding fathers of rap metal. The Californian quartet has lodged itself into the hearts and minds of fans all over the world during their decades-long career – “Cut my life into pieces. This is my last resort!” will forever echo throughout the halls of every emo night and karaoke bar. Released in 2022, their eleventh studio album, Ego Trip, has been called their boldest yet.
“We’ve been such huge fans of The Used forever and we are thrilled to bring this tour down under,” said lead singer Jacoby Shaddix. “Get ready to get rowdy!”
The Used are as real as it gets. After carving a space for themselves in the alternative scene with their acclaimed Self-Titled album in 2002, the band has continued to make waves with its unique blend of catchy pop melodies, punk rock energy, gut-wrenching lyrics, and gothic imagery.
