The Stu Thomas Paradox: “Trouble Is A Lonesome Town” 60th Anniversary Show

Special guest:
TANYA-LEE DAVIES sings NANCY SINATRA

“Trouble is a Lonesome Town” (released 1963) was Lee Hazlewood’s first bona fide solo album. An original blend of spoken narrative alongside yarns in song, about the fictional town of Trouble and its offbeat characters. The album presaged Lee’s later success with Nancy Sinatra, and his subsequent lengthy career. It still resonates in 2023 and stands as a countrypolitan classic.

THE STU THOMAS PARADOX will celebrate the 60th anniversary of this Iconic release, performing the entire album (and then some) with some of Melbourne’s finest musicians.

All class, all the way:
STU THOMAS on vocals / guitar.
PHIL COLLINGS on drums / guitar. ROSIE WESTBROOK on double bass. DAVID LORD on harmonica / keyboards.
LEE HAZLEWOOD will provide spoken interjections.
The fun happens on Sunday Dec 10th at George Lane, St Kilda.

Doors open 4pm.
Music starts 5pm with the extraordinary TANYA-LEE DAVIES singing NANCY SINATRA.

Better get tickets quick! They won’t last.
