Melbourne’s murmurmur will be joined by Taylah Carroll for the series’ first instalment on Sunday August 1. Then on August 8, Melbourne’s own Devo-esque synth-punk band, Dr Sure’s Unusual Practice, will perform alongside the more angular punk of OUZO.

The following Sunday, punters heading along to The Retreat will catch Hobsons Bay Coast Guard and Kosmetika – a double bill of surf-rock and fuzz-pop.

For the series’ penultimate instalment, psych-pop outfit Sunfruits will take to the space alongside The Vovos – one of Melbourne’s most exciting bands right now.

Capping off series is a sweet double bill of Eggy and Mug. The former of the two deliver a kind of weird surrealist pop akin to Cate Le Bon while Mug are Melbourne’s answer to Broadcast, delivering spacious Kraut-driven soundscapes. This show will be happening on Sunday August 29.
