Celebrate the closing of the NGV's QUEER exhibition with an evening of festivities.

A celebration hosted by Aysha Buffet that features an impressive line-up of iconic queer performers, curated by the iconic Ruby Slippers. Explore late night access to the QUEER: Stories from the NGV Collection for one final time before the exhibition closes. It all goes down on August 20, from 6pm until 11pm. It’s a free event, but booking is required.

With drinks available to purchase from the Yering Station Bar and after hours access to the QUEER: Stories from the NGV Collection exhibition, it’s the perfect time to explore the exhibit if you haven’t already. They’re also hosting talks and film screenings to see the party off.

QUEER: Stories from the NGV Collection includes approximately 400 artworks from antiquity to the present day, making the exhibition the most historically expansive thematic presentation of its kind ever presented by an Australian art institution.

Featuring items from the NGV’s archival collection, it spans historical eras and diverse media including painting, drawing, photography, decorative arts, fashion, video, sculpture, and design.
