Irish stand-up Shane Todd is jetting into Australia this month with a brand new show up his sleeve.
Shane Todd is back on Australian soil with Hold Me Back, his 11th solo show, and TEG Dainty is behind the tour.
The Irishman last toured here in 2024, when his run of shows sold out, so he’s heading back to rooms that already know his style.
Audiences can expect sharp storytelling from a comic who doesn’t take himself too seriously.

The run begins at Freo.Social in Perth on 21 October, which is also billed as the debut of the new show, before a second Perth night on 22 October.
From there, Shane Todd heads east to Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane, wrapping up in Adelaide on 30 October. Anyone planning a night out will find the tour covers five cities across the country, with two nights in Perth and one show each in the other four.
It’s been a busy stretch for the comedian.
Shane Todd has sold out shows across the United States and Canada, supported Kevin Hart on tour and kept his Tea With Me podcast rolling.
He also hosts We’re Not F**cking Historians, a podcast that offers an alternative guide to Irish history, and he’s emceeing the BBC New Comedy Awards in Belfast.
Hold Me Back marks his 11th solo show, and in Melbourne it lands at the National Theatre on 24 October. Tickets for the six dates are on sale now through TEG Dainty.
