In a stroke of remix genius, Client Liaison jettison the original goofy guitar licks (that were still pretty great) heard in The Preatures’ Cruel, revealing that Isabella Manfredi’s vocal take isn’t too far removed from Client Liaison’s own pop phrasing. The result is a brilliantly cool construction, elevated to the next level thanks to a hearty serving of sax.
