The Andrew Lloyd-Webber classic has been a staple of the arts scene for around 40 years. It’s graced Australian stages twice in the past, and is returning in 2022 thanks to Opera Australia.
The musical has received much attention thanks to its detailed costumes, set design and music, making it one of the most difficult musicals to replicate. It comes to Melbourne for a season that opens tonight and will run until February 5, 2023.
