Saxophone virtuoso Julien Wilson and percussionist Ray Pereira explore a fresh approach to improvisation and groove in THE MOUTH.
With Quinn Knight on drumkit, Robbie Belchamber on guitar and Ashleigh Howell on bass perform original tunes based on rare Afro Cuban, African and Sri Lankan grooves. Julien and Robbie weave harmony and melody around the interlocking polyrhythms set up by Ray, Quinn, and Ash. Interesting and innovative music that you can dance to or listen to.
The Mouth have just recorded their debut album SPEAK which will be released soon.
