The festivities kick off with an unconventional Opening Day Binge Watch at Howler Art Space, one of four venues included in the 2017 schedule.
Focal points of personal odysseys, society, community, family and those on the fringes can be viewed in a selection of films from curated categories such as Australia, Music, Art, LGBTI, Foodie, Environmental and Aboriginal.
Keep an eye out for festival highlights including The Cinema Travellers, God Knows Where I Am and Five Days on Lesvos and master classes and seminars from Costa Bones (Candy Man, Forgotten Silver, LOTR), John Pritchard (One Heart, One Spirit) and Jack Thompson (The Man From Snowy River, Breaker Morant).
