The Kinks are releasing a huge ‘Arthur’ 50th anniversary box set

Complete with previously unheard tracks.

The Kinks have announced they’ll be celebrating the 50th anniversary of Arthur Or The Decline And Fall Of The British Empire by unveiling a massive box set, jam-packed with remastered tracks, previously unheard songs and more.

The box set contains a handful of CDs, 7-inch singles, memorabilia, exclusive interviews with the band members, photos and artwork, essays from experts on the band and new tracks from Ray Davies and the Doo Wop Choir. All up, there are 81 tracks, including five previously unreleased tracks and 28 previously unreleased versions.

The album was originally released on October 10, 1969 and the box set will be shipped out Friday October 25.
