It’ll give you chills.

Beat is proud to present to you the trailer for Alexander Brunacci’s forthcoming short film, The Grace Of Others, starring Woodrow Wilson and Sunday Barca-Irving.

The story, set in a magnificent mansion, features an eccentric and strange family, who wander somewhere between Tim Burton and David Lynch. Our protagonist, James, has a new girlfriend who is a photographer, and he asks her to photograph his huge and strange family for their ‘annual portrait’ – but the question is, will she fit in the portrait? Can she really be a part of his world?

The stillness and tension in the trailer makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up: it’s like a slow ballroom dance with your enemy. It’s shot by Edward Goldner.

Alexander Brunacci was born and raised in Tasmania, and wanted to be a director since he won an award for his first film. He moved over to Melbourne to study and loves the Melboune student film community. We’ll keep you updated on the official release.
