The first batch of overseas Melbourne International Comedy Festival acts has been revealed

The funny season is fast approaching.

Melbourne International Comedy Festival has started rolling out the names of those flying in for next year’s extravaganza.

Just announced for the three-week festival are Icelandic comedian Ari Eldjarn, UK duo Flo & Joan. Darren Harriott, James Veitch, Larry Dean and Mark Watson. The international additions join previously announced acts Joel Creasey, Urzila Carlson, Aaron Chen and Nazeem Hussain, among others.

Tickets for the newly announced shows are on sale now and the full comedy festival program will be revealed Tuesday Friday 11.

The Melbourne International Comedy Festival will run between Wednesday March 25 and Sunday April 19. For more info, head to the MICF website.
