The Creature from Outer Bass (Keith Stone) is blowing away his audiences with wit, virtuosity, and science-fiction/fact in a darkly comedic new act created with “hard to believe sounds” using only a 5-string bass guitar. Joined on stage by ‘The Son of The Creature from Outer Bass’ (Daniel Stone) on drums, the duo is redefining ‘genre’ and what ‘Drum & Bass’ music can be.
The Creature from Outer Bass gained notoriety as the founding member and bassist for Melbourne Fusion group ‘The Banned”, his appearances on Hey, Hey it’s Saturday, ABC’s Countdown (with Margaret Urlich), many national and local radio performances, and rave reviews in American Guitar Player magazine have cemented him into Australian independent music history.
