Following national touring for their singles Trackstar and Grace, Naarm-based band The Halves return with their sophomore EP Opus – a six-track collection that broadens the band’s sonic and emotional scope. From the relentless intensity of Trackstar to the euphoric optimism of Grace and the reflective vulnerability of Replacement, Opus reveals a band increasingly confident in embracing contrast without sacrificing the raw energy that first defined them.
To celebrate the release, The Halves are heading on a four-date East Coast lap in November. Performing at Punters Club in Naarm/Melbourne with local support The Noise, The Halves are continuing to push beyond the boundaries of contemporary post-punk, pairing ambitious songwriting with an uncompromising live show as they enter their next chapter with Opus.
