Ten things that make a great show: 1. Laughter 2. Great songs 3.  Partial nudity 4. Booze  5. Unexpected emotion  6. Something that makes you blush  7. A live band  8. Genuine connection 9. Glitter 10. A kickarse ending.

Nine food items that you need to make a kickarse dinner party: 1. Red wine 2. White wine 3. Gin 4. Scotch 5. Vodka 6. Tequila 7. Tonic  8. Limes 9. And bacon. Always bacon.

Eight possessions that define you: 1. My suitcase. I’m away from home pretty much all the time. 2. My ever emptying wine rack.  3. My laptop. Cute, small and particularly useful. 4. My lucky mug.  I have a mug that I take everywhere so that no matter where I drink tea, I can feel at home. 5. My ‘good’ underwear. These days, you never know when someone is going to see your underwear. Auditions, shows, on the bus.  Granted, I did get in trouble for that last one. 6. My backpack.  This thing is like Mary Poppin’s bag.  Things go in there and aren’t found again for months. 7. My collection of vintage Christmas records. Bing is king. 8. My global knives.  I love to cook so these are great for that, and are also useful for warding off pesky intruders.

Seven favourite movies/TV shows that you binge watch: 1. House Rules. Sadly, I’m a renovation show addict.  2. The Block (see point 1) 3. Black Books. Hilarious. 4. The IT Crowd (see point 3) 5. Ru Paul’s Drag Race. (Even though this season sucked.) 5. Bob’s Burgers. 6. Love Actually (every year at Christmas) 7. Family Feud. No judgment please. Grant Denyer is tiny and funny. I want his job.

Six bad habits you can’t escape:  1. Biting my nails. 2. Drunk texting. 3. Tea. 4. Reality TV. 5.Laughing out loud in public whilst reading. 6. Bacon.

Five people who inspire you: 1.Oscar Wilde. The original shit stirrer. 2. Bing Crosby (it’s a Christmas thing) 3. Wesley Enoch (new AD of Sydney Festival) He’s seriously one of the nicest and hardest working people I’ve ever met. 4. My parents. They’re actually great. 5. People who follow their dreams and make it work.

Four things that turn you on: Do I have to answer honestly?  Is this like golden showers and stuff?  I’ll go a different route. 1. Intelligence. 2. Compassion. 3. A cheeky smile. 4. Eyes with a sparkle behind them.

Three goals for your show: 1. Make the audience leave singing inappropriate lyrics. 2. Kick ’em in the feels. 3. Make ’em laugh.

Two performances you’ll never forget and why: The show where I winded myself by tripping and landing on an oversized roast turkey. Why?  Do I really need to explain? The first time I ever performed this cabaret. Because the audience laughed and laughed. It worked.

One day left before the apocalypse and you: Fill a bath, get some ridiculously expensive red wine, put on some jazz and watch the world burn.
