In the first half of 2023, Series 1 of Morning Music at Moonee Ponds’ iconic Clocktower Centre saw some incredible artists dazzle audiences, including The B# Big Band, Antoinette Halloran and The Australian Ballet School. Series 2 brings an equally world-class lineup.
Series 2 kicks off on Tuesday, 22 August with Hit Parade, as singer Glenn Starr revisits a stunning array of timeless hits from the 1950s and ‘60s, from artists including the Monkees, Paul Anka, Roy Orbison and more.
In September, Melbourne singing legend Wendy Stapleton brings another legend to life in The Dusty Springfield Story, an outstanding and unmissable tribute to the songs and life story of one of Britain’s greatest female pop singers.

The name Jonathon Welch AM is synonymous with the award-winning TV smash hit, Choir of Hard Knocks. In his show A Hard Knock Life, which comes to the Clocktower in October, Welch threads his amazing life story through a show of simply beautiful music, with help from the Voices of Moonee Valley Choir. So yes, there will be singalongs too.
After being a reluctant late withdrawal to last year’s Morning Music, acclaimed singer Michael Cormick will be raring to go this November when he performs the hits of the late, great American composer Burt Bacharach in Michael Cormick sings Bacharach.
To bring Morning Music 2023 to a spectacular, festive finale, one of Australia’s leading ladies – and reigning Queen of Moomba, no less – Rhonda Burchmore will bring her signature pizazz to the Clocktower stage in December. Get ready for a show full of highlights from Rhonda’s incredible career – and of course some Christmas favourites.
