Curated by Melbourne-based artist and writer Phip Murray, Hey, Good Looking, includes an austere photo of Rober O’Hara Burke, and Vivianne Shark LeWitt’s portrait of an office worker named Bob. The collection was obtained from Melbourne’s Art and Heritage Collection for public display.
“Official portraits have been used historically to commemorate the invaluable contribution people have made to our great city,” said Lord Mayor Robert Doyle, who opened the exhibition, “[W]e are delighted to host this exhibition and display these works for Melburnians and tourists to enjoy.”
