The Bluesfest 2020 set times have arrived

Bluesfest

After eight huge lineup announcements, the Bluesfest bill for 2020 has been finalised and the playing times are here.

Set to take over Tyagarah Tea Tree Farm across Easter, this year’s Bluesfest will bring a mammoth offering of acts to the stage across its five days.

The beauty of Bluesfest means that most artists play multiple sets across the festival, so if there is a clash, you’ll usually have another chance to catch whoever you missed.

Kicking off in the late afternoon on Thursday, day one will see sets from Ash Grunwald, The Bamboos, LP, The Allman Betts Band and The Cat Empire.

Day two is set to be a big one, so be sure not to skip your caffeine fix. The Waifs, Brandi Carlile, Dweezil Zappa, Alanis Morissette, and Lenny Kravitz will keep the tunes coming thick and fast, ensuring you get your steps in as you weave between stages.

Saturday will bring performances from Emily Wurramara, Allen Stone, Patti Smith and Her Band, Kool and The Gang and Eagles of Death Metal, offering a genre-spanning party sure to have you breaking through any mid-festival fatigue.

With Sunday comes Little Georgia, Tori Kelly, John Butler, Xavier Rudd, Guy Sebastian, Crowded House and The Wailers.

The final day will finish the festival off with a bang and give you a chance to see any acts you may have missed, with encore sets from The War & Treaty, Larkin Poe, The Waterboys, Tori Kelly, Patti Smith and Her Band and Allman Betts Band, as well a penultimate set from Dave Matthews Band.

Get out your highlighters, you’ve got some planning to do.

Bluesfest is happening at Tyagarah Tea Tree Farm from Thursday April 9 until Sunday April 12. For tickets and the full lineup, visit the Bluesfest website. Find the full 2020 playing schedule here
