Jamie xx, The Avalanches and more are teaming up for a climate awareness concert in Sydney

Raving to save the planet.

Presented by Young Turks, ClientEarth and DP Immersive comes a mammoth climate awareness concert, featuring Jamie xx, DJ sets from The Avalanches and Midnight Juggernauts, Heaps Gay and Friends, Ptwiggs, DeepFaith and a special screening of The Four Worlds from Jonathan Zawada x Mark Pritchard.

Aimed at raising awareness around the environmental impact of coal, No Coal Zone features a lineup of artists who are vocal and passionate about the climate crisis.

“The work ClientEarth are doing to stop the building of future coal fired power stations will hugely cut the planet’s carbon emissions and will help to slow the devastating effects of global warming,” said Jamie xx.

“I’m proud to support them and hope this party can help them in their incredible work. I already offset my own carbon emissions from flying and will certainly be doing so for this gig.”

One of the world’s leading environmental law charities, ClientEarth work in Europe, Asia and Australasia to hold governments and industries accountable and force polluting industries to shut down.

All proceeds raised from No Coal Zone will go towards ClientEarth and Immersive Climate Education.

No Coal Zone is happening at Hordern Pavilion on Saturday March 14. Grab your tickets via Secret Sounds
