After a nine-month sell-out run in New York, international cabaret star Stewart D’Arrietta will take audiences on a rollicking journey through Waits’ legendary songs, accompanied by renowned Australian guitarist Ross Hannaford (Daddy Cool/The Black Sorrows/Goanna), double bassist Philip Rex and drummer Danny Fischer. With songs featured from Tom Waits’ first album Closing Time through to his most recent Orphans, Brawlers, Bawlers & Bastards, the inspirations, characters and lyrics of the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame member’s musical life will be explored in this gritty and gut-wrenching cabaret tribute.
