Cupcake bounds along like Cheap Trick’s Want You To Want Me, which isn’t a bad thing, far from it. It plays to Teeth & Tongue’s strengths, stretched out in a soaring landscape, flush with deft nuance in playful instrumentation. The vocal hook could get away with being a tad more earworm-y, but there’s plenty of rock ‘n’ roll swagger on offer to compensate.
