It only takes around a minute for The Party Is You to scale some fairly lofty heights. For the remaining four minutes however, the track meanders with some fairly naff timbales action and dull guitar lines. Cornelius’s impressive vocals are betrayed by the busy, aimless instrumentation – sounding something like a low rent Jack Ladder & The Dreamlanders.
