System of a Down return for their first headline Australian tour in over a decade, with Faith No More in support.
System of a Down are returning to Australian stadiums in 2027, and they’re bringing Faith No More along too.
The shows mark System of a Down’s first headline Australian tour in more than a decade, with Faith No More joining them as special guests. The two bands will play Sydney’s Accor Stadium, Melbourne’s Marvel Stadium and Brisbane’s Suncorp Stadium, running from late January into early February.
System of a Down are a Grammy-winning four-piece who first broke through with their self-titled debut before Toxicity turned them into a global name. That album remains their most celebrated, and the band have sold more than 42 million records worldwide. Crowds here can expect a set pulled from right across their catalogue, and the visit lands on the back of a European and UK stadium tour that sold out in Paris, London and Warsaw.

General tickets go on sale from 31 July, with start times staggered by city: 10am in Sydney, 11am in Melbourne and 12pm in Brisbane. TEG Live is presenting the run, and Ticketek is handling sales across all three cities.
Two presales open the doors earlier. PayPal signs on as the official presale partner, with its First Access window running from 29 July: a PayPal account is needed to take part, and buyers can choose to pay now or pay later. Before that, an artist presale starts 28 July for fans on the System of a Down and Faith No More mailing lists.
Faith No More bring their own long history of restless genre-mixing, sliding between alternative rock, metal, funk, punk and experimental sounds on tracks like Epic and Midlife Crisis. Their influence has carried through to countless artists across plenty of genres in the years since, and the two acts now make up a double bill of heavy music mainstays touring the country in 2027.
