Purveyors of electro-rock and industrial Many Machines on Nine announced their decision to put the band to rest in a statement released on their website.
Sydney-siders MM9 (known to many as Many Machines on Nine and no I don’t know what it means either) ended the band almost a year after their first full length album The Air Between was released to much critical acclaim and even a modest amount of chart success.
After nine years of punishing tours and strangely only three releases MM9 came to the conclusion that it was time to part ways when they realised as individuals they were heading in different directions. Ah artistic differences, what an unwelcome companion you are.
The Air Between is available through the MM9 website.
