It’s that time of year again. PBS 106.7FM’s biggest membership drive of the year. This year’s Radio Festival is asking all listeners to ‘Feast Your Ears’ on a membership to keep the station sending tasty tunes your way.

From Monday May 14 until Sunday May 27, PBS is asking you to put your money where your mouth is and become a PBS member. By treating yourself to a membership, you help PBS’ ability to nurture and grow their amazing support of both local and international musical produce.

There are prizes on offer for some lucky membership buyers. These prizes are a Primavera 125 i-GET, an Amber TT3 belt drive turntable, a Golden Plains Luxury Package, a Maton S60 acoustic guitar, and a year’s worth of PBS feature records. Plus, every member receives a Best of Studio 5 Live CD or download with recorded performances of Camp Cope, Freya Josephine Hollick, The Senegambian Jazz Band and Clowns. The only condition is that you sign up during this membership drive.

PBS’ programs are designed as a smorgasbord of every taste and have many presenters working tirelessly. Emma Peel is celebrating a decade of presenting Switched On.

“Walking into PBS is like walking into the family home on a cold winter’s night for a home cooked meal,” says Peel. “At PBS, we run on the smell of an oily rag, but the people that gravitate towards the station are some of the most wonderful, generous and inspiring people I’ve ever met. To be able to share little heard music is a joy.”
